1Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Pariksha AI (including our website, progressive web application (PWA), APIs, and offline features), you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2Nature of AI Evaluations & Educational Advice

Pariksha AI provides automated computer-based evaluations, including optical character recognition (OCR) transcription of handwritten copies, diagnostic scores, model answers, and syllabus recommendations:

• Diagnostic Practice Tool: All evaluations, score estimates (e.g., 5.5/10), and feedback generated by our AI models are intended strictly for educational self-assessment and mock practice. They do not constitute a guarantee of official marks or selection in any real government exam.
• Examiner Simulation: Scoring rubrics follow publicly available commission guidelines (such as the UPSC 4-Tier Evaluation Rubric), but actual commission examiners exercise independent subjective discretion.

3Candidate Accounts & Security

When creating an account on Pariksha AI, you agree to provide accurate registration details (name, email, and target exam). You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4Ownership of Handwritten Copies & Intellectual Property

All platform assets—including the Pariksha AI logo, proprietary scoring algorithms, website design, mock test questions, and software code—remain the exclusive intellectual property of Pariksha AI.

5Prohibited Activities & Academic Integrity

When using Pariksha AI, you agree NOT to:

• Upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing material.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or decompile our platform APIs or AI models.
• Circumvent account limits, rate limits, or payment mechanisms.
• Use automated bots or scripts to generate excessive server load.

6Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Pariksha AI offers free diagnostic mock tests alongside optional Pro subscription tiers. Paid plans unlock unlimited evaluations, advanced topic analytics, and full test booklets. Subscriptions are billed via licensed payment gateways (including Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd. and Razorpay) supporting UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, and Net Banking.

You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time directly via your account settings. Subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are governed by our dedicated Cancellation & Refund Policy, which provides a 7-day fair-satisfaction money-back guarantee for first-time Pro subscribers.

7Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Vicaksha Labs and its directors, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the platform, including any discrepancies in mock scores, temporary server downtime, or examination outcomes.

8Governing Law & Corporate Contact

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
